Thanks to all who stopped by on Tuesday evening, August 1, to celebrate National Night Out. It was great to see familiar faces, all our four-legged friends, and make new friends. Even our neighborhood cat, Jester, made an appearance.
The police and fire departments were here and the kids had a blast taking a tour of the inside of the fire truck. Some lucky little ones also had the opportunity to go inside the police cruiser.
A special shout out to Kim Kelly for hiding all those beautifully painted rocks. If anyone would like to share their photos of their found treasures, we would be more than happy to post them on our web site and in our September newsletter.
We cannot thank Office Paulus, Officer Yeager, and our friends from Fire Station No. 30 enough for their time and effort to help make this a success – and for what they do every day to keep us all safe.
Thank you Office Paulus; we love our t-shirts!
The GCA looks forward to this event next year, and to making it even bigger and better than this year's celebration.
