Check out The Glen's Community Calendar for up-to-date information on neighborhood and school events and the current trash, recycling, and yard-waste collection schedule.
It's never too late to pay your association dues. Annual dues are $20 and payable on the first day of each calendar year.
Prefer to pay by mail? Please contact The Glen Civic Association for information on where to mail your dues.
Recycling is collected every Monday; yard waste is collected every other Monday. When Monday is a holiday, our collection day moves to Tuesday.
Residents should use their city-issued blue containers for recycling. Recycling containers may not be used for yard-waste disposal; residents must use separate containers or bags for their yard waste. According to the City of Columbus Yard Waste Fact Sheet, “There is no restriction on the number of [yard-waste] bags a household can put out for pickup.”
The trash pickup schedule does not rotate with the recycling and yard-waste collection schedule. Our trash-day color is ruby. Please call 645-RUBY or visit the City of Columbus Call Center to find out the current trash day. Searching for your address on the Call Center website also allows you to generate a printable full-year trash, recycling, and yard-waste collection calendar.
You can also schedule bulk pickup through the Call Center. Pursuant to the City of Columbus, trash cans are to be brought to the curb no more than 12 hours prior to pickup and removed from the curb within 24 hours of pickup.
