Valentines for Mill Run Health & Rehabilitation Center Residents

Pre-pandemic, The Glen Civic Association provided valentines for residents of Mill Run Health & Rehabilitation Center – and now seems like a great time to bring back this special project!
Completed valentines can be dropped off between February 1 and February 13 at collection boxes on the front porches of 3179 Dunlavin Glen Road and 3322 Noreen Drive. We will deliver these valentines on Tuesday, February 14.
Store-bought and/or handmade cards are appreciated, along with some sweets. (Diabetic snacks are a big help!) Snacks, like cards, can be either store-bought or homemade.

The GCA, along with Horseshoe Farms, is happy to announce the return of our annual hayride on Saturday, October 9. The event will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Doreen Court, off Noreen Drive.
This event is available to adults, kids, and leashed pets. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. We will have live music from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Bottled water will be provided. We will also have treats for your pets.
Civic association dues may be paid at the hayride. All dues collected at the event will go toward your 2022 association dues.

Each dues-paying household is eligible for one six-inch cold cut or veggie sub per household member. Bottled water will also be provided with each sub.

The GCA will once again be delivering valentines to the residents of Mill Run Gardens and Care Center. This brings so much joy to them each year.
If you would like to participate, please leave filled-out cards, cookies, and/or candy in the carton on the front porch of 3179 Dunlavin Glen Rd. Drop-off will be available starting Monday, February 10; all donations must be received by Wednesday, February 12.
Items should be wrapped or boxed; homemade baked goods must be labeled with ingredients. Diabetic friendly snacks are very much appreciated. Please do not include nuts in baked goods.

This event is for children ages 13 and below. Attendees will receive 1-1/2 hours of jump time at Get Air Adrenaline Trampoline Park, plus unlimited photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. (Please bring your own camera.) Santa will have candy canes for the children.
Payment is due at the trampoline park when you arrive. You will need to purchase jump socks if you do not already have them. Parental supervision is required at all times, especially when children are on the trampolines. A waiver must be submitted online in order to jump.

The Glen will host its third annual neighborhood hayride on Saturday, October 12, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Hayrides – provided by Horseshoe Farm Carriage Service – will launch from our “hayride headquarters” on Doreen Court and tour The Glen for around 10 to 15 minutes.
And the fun doesn’t stop after your ride. Join us for pumpkin decorating, cookies, sidewalk chalk art, and more.
This family-friendly event is free for dues-paying residents and their families; admission for all others is $5 per family. Please bring either exact change or a check made payable to The Glen Civic Association. Children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Leashed pets are welcome.

Please join The Glen for a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus!
This event is for children ages 13 and below. Attendees will receive 1-1/2 hours of jump time at Get Air Adrenaline Trampoline Park, plus unlimited photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Payment is due at the trampoline park when you arrive. You will need to purchase socks if you do not already have them. Parental supervision is required at all times, especially when children are on the trampolines. A waiver must be submitted online in order to jump.

The Glen will host its second annual neighborhood hayride on Saturday, October 27, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Hayrides provided by Horseshoe Farm Carriage Service will launch from our "hayride headquarters" on Doreen Court and tour The Glen for around 10 to 15 minutes.

Let this popular British rock tribute band take you back to the Sixties with songs by the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, the Who, Herman's Hermits, and – of course – the Beatles.
This free, family-friendly concert is open to the public; no RSVP is required. Attendees can park in either the church lot or across the street at the Mill Run shopping center. Blankets and folding chairs are welcome.
