The GCA has started a Neighborhood Watch Group on Nextdoor, open to all adult residents of The Glen. You can find the group under the "Group" section of Nextdoor, listed as "The Glen Neighborhood Watch".
The association feels this group will be a good place for residents to post concerns and any and all suspicious activity. When posting, please do not make any assumptions or give opinions; rather, post what your concern or observation is, and the group monitors will look into it. If it is necessary to let all residents know, they will get the word out.
**If there is an emergency situation – or you see a crime in progress – call 911 IMMEDIATELY.**
If you observe something that is specific to a particular resident, it is always best to private message that person first. For example, if you notice someone has left their garage door open, let them know before posting about it on Nextdoor. We do not want that advertised to others.
**Should you see someone breaking into a home, however, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.**
We had a nice turnout at our annual meeting, with the discussion focusing on our Neighborhood Watch Program. Please let us know if you are interested in helping with this program. No involvement is too small; all help is appreciated.
