Changes to Columbus city code mean Columbus vehicle owners can no longer satisfy the city's parking time limit by pushing their cars forward a few inches every three days, Rick Rouan reports for The Columbus Dispatch.
The code changes, approved by city council on Monday, kept at 72 hours the amount of time a vehicle can be left parked in one place. Now, however, there's a distance requirement; vehicles must be moved at least 75 feet to stay in compliance.
Previously, Mr. Rouan writes, "people [would] move disabled vehicles just a few inches [every 72 hours] to avoid a ticket."
