Columbus Public Health will host a drug drop-off at CPH headquarters, 240 Parsons Ave., on Saturday, October 27, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. If you have expired or otherwise unneeded prescription medications taking up space in your medicine cabinet, this drop-off is an excellent way to dispose of them safely.

To drop off medications, just drive to the drop-off point on October 27, give your prescriptions to the waiting law enforcement officials, and drive away. No parking or preregistration required!

The CPH drop-off will accept the following items:

  • Prescription pills
  • Over the counter pills
  • Patches
  • Pet medication
  • Vitamins
  • Needles/sharps in puncture resistant containers

Liquids, gel caps, aerosol cans, thermometers, and inhalers will not be accepted during this drop-off.
