A series of "mobile dog licensing" events scheduled for the first month of dog licensing open enrollment and announced Monday by Franklin County auditor Michael Stinziano should help county residents keep their dogs in compliance with the law in 2020.
These December mobile licensing locations will run at various pet-friendly spots across central Ohio. Open enrollment for dog licensing began on December 1; the deadline to purchase a license without paying a penalty is March 31.
Dog licenses can also be purchased, renewed, and updated online.
"Franklin County residents will have several opportunities in the community to license their dog," Mr. Stinziano said in a statement. "Making licensing easier is part of my commitment to accessibility and accountability."
Mobile dog licensing is currently available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily through December 6 at Columbus Humane, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct. That’s just around the corner from The Glen!
