Annual Spring Garage Sale

The annual neighborhood garage sale will take place on Saturday, May 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you wish to participate, click here to submit via SurveyPlanet your name, address, and the best way to contact you in case there are any last-minute changes to the event. You can also email your details to The Glen directly. Remember to put signs in your yard and balloons on your mailbox!

Beggars' Night this year will take place on Thursday, October 31, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Residents planning to participate should turn their porch lights on – and be prepared with plenty of treats!
Whether or not you plan to participate in Beggars' Night, please keep our neighborhood streets safe for trick-or-treaters by driving below the speed limit and keeping your eyes on the road.

"Rumpke is berry egg-cited to announce that clamshell plastic containers are now recyclable," the company wrote in a blog post last month.
Beginning November 1, 2024, clear plastic carryout, fruit and vegetable, and egg containers can be tossed into blue recycling bins alongside other household recycling.
The reason for the change? AI.
"New technology at the Rumpke Recycling and Resource Center allows us to segregate new types of recycling from the stream," said Rumpke president Andrew Rumpke.
Added Jeff Snyder, Rumpke's senior vice president of recycling and sustainability: "New artificial intelligence and optic technology allows Rumpke to identify and sort plastic clamshells from other types of plastics within the recycling stream."
Recycled clamshell containers will be sent to a manufacturing partner to be processed into plastic pellets.

See Santa and Mrs. Claus! Children and adults from dues-paying households can jump for one hour for free! Children ages 17 and under from non-dues-paying households can jump for $5 each.
All guests at the trampoline park must check in, sign waivers, and get wrist bands. Jump socks are required by Get Air; if you do not have jump socks, they can be purchased at your expense.
The easiest way to pay your dues is through our website. Dues can also be paid by mail or in person at any of our events. Please contact The Glen Civic Association for information on where to mail your dues or to check your dues status.
