Our Riverside Drive post office location will suspend service on Saturday, July 17, at 2 p.m., in advance of the Golden Bear Shopping Center being torn down.
USPS is looking for a new location for the post office.
This closure will not affect route delivery. After July 17, our mail will be sorted at the main post office location on Twin Rivers Drive. Per a conversation with post office employees, this is also where residents will pick up held mail. Accountable items (e.g., mail requiring a signature), however, will need to be picked up at the Henderson Road post office.
Post office box customers can continue to access their P.O. boxes at the Riverside Drive post office until July 17 at 2 p.m., when the boxes will be moved to the Henderson Road post office. Access will resume on the morning of Monday, July 19.
