Neighborhood Hayride with Horseshoe Farms
Saturday, September 12, 2026
2 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Doreen Court (off Noreen Drive)
The Glen's annual hayride will be on Saturday, September 12, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Doreen Court.
Ron Schilling, owner of Horseshoe Farms, is retiring soon, and this will be our last year with him. We have had almost 10 years of fun and sweet memories with Ron, his horses, and the wonderful hospitality of our Doreen Court residents.
The GCA has planned some special guests for this year’s event. Let’s try for a big turnout to thank Ron for all he has done!
Calling all "farm hands"! We need help with the hayride this year. If you are available to assist between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on the 12th, please let us know. This is our largest event of the year, and your help is greatly appreciated!
The hayride is free for dues-paying Glen residents and only $5 per family for all others. No RSVP is necessary; just come and enjoy this fun, family-friendly event! Leashed pets are welcome to ride along on the hayride. We will have bowls of water available for pets and special treats (as long as they last!) for your children. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
As a reminder, Glen dues may be paid at the hayride. Dues received in September will be credited to both 2026 and 2027. Dues remain $20 for one year or $50 for three years. Please email The Glen with any questions regarding the status of your dues.
Dues-paying residents who wish to make a $5 donation to cover the cost of attending the hayride may do so through our website. Thank you for your continued support of The Glen!
