These last few weeks in Summer ‘17 have been all about aquatic activities available from the Hilliard and Columbus recreation and parks departments. But there’s so much more your kids can do when school is out.
So this week we’re turning our attention to things that take place on dry land. First up: The tennis programs offered by Columbus Recreation and Parks.
There’re plenty of opportunities for the young and young at heart – but today, we’re starting with the young.
Let’s get to it.
Bring your “Tots” and “Aces” out to play
Weekly Camps
Tots (3-5) – $15/week
Aces (6-8) – $15/week
Each week includes four, 45-minute classes.
Whether your child is new to the game or ready for league play, Columbus Recreation and Parks (CRPD) has a program that’s perfect for them.
The Tennis Tots and Tennis Aces camps help kids between three and eight years old learn the sport of tennis through weekly camps. Tots works with children between the ages of three and five, while Aces focuses on those aged six, seven, and eight.
Each camp consists of four, 45-minute classes, one per day, Monday through Thursday. Tennis balls are provided, along with a limited number of rackets.
